Animal Nutrition Breakthrough…

Trials performed by Dr Lewis Kahn, University of New England, have shown that Superior Mineral Supplement produced by AgSolutions' Australia, provides a safe, economical, environmentally friendly, and effective alternative to the use of urea for winter and drought feeding. Further trials also confirmed that Superior Mineral Supplement is an effective alternative to Eskalin and Rumensin for prevention of acidosis when feeding grain rations.

Alternative to UREA for Winter and Drought feeding…

Until now, farmers have faced potential loss of cattle to nitrogen poisoning, where urea based lick blocks are used as supplementary feed in dry or drought conditions. Superior Mineral Supplement and Mega Minerals Lick Blocks contain no urea; are easy to store and distribute to animals; delivers a better cost benefit ratio than nitrogen based alternatives.

Government supports expansion plans…

AgSolutions’ manufacturing plant at Gympie will undergo a major expansion in 2005 to meet the growing demand for Natra Min Mineral Fertilizer and Animal Supplements. The extension of facilities has been assisted by the announcement of an Australian Government Dairy RAP contribution towards this venture.
